It is always hard to imagine what your wedding cake will taste like, that’s why we offer cake tasting sessions!

It is a fun/interactive meeting that we can get to know the wedding couple and find out about their needs.

In this particular session, we have put together a vanilla bean cake, chocolate/hazelnut cake and a decadent dark chocolate cake along with a variety of toppings!

Today we are exploring new options for our gluten free customers.

This banana bread is so moist and so tasty that you won’t believe this is actually gluten free.(My husband would have never find out if I didn’t tell him)

For best result, you can serve it warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream or cream cheese icing.

A zesty lemon cake for birthday

We just recently made a very zesty lemon poppy seed cake with lemon curd fillings for a birthday party.

This 6″ cake is definitely going to be a crowd pleaser!

Wedding Reception at Brock House Restaurant

Our best wishes go to our newly wedded couple Dan & Jen!

The Brock House restaurant is such a beautiful venue and it was such a blessing to be able to have the reception dinner hosted there.

This lovely couple have chosen a chocolate hazelnut cake decorated with fresh ranunculus & roses. The simple and yet elegant design of the wedding cake worked really well with the white/green themed reception. : )

Caffe La Musette is a new bike-friendly coffee bar where commuters and weekend warriors can stop in for an espresso, a gluten-free energy bar and some friendly bike banter. Opening March 1st at Drake and Hornby in downtown Vancouver, Caffe La Musette is the first of it’s kind in Vancouver. Serving 49th Parallel espresso from a custom painted celeste La Marzocco, freshly made crepes and a variety of treats.

Caffe La Musette will also be carrying some of Sweet Naturally Bakery’s delicious and healthy sweet treats!

I have an habit of putting a twist on left-overs and turning them into something cool and exciting.

Left-overs graham crackers + marshmallow trimmings + excess melted dark chocolate + blow torch = heavenly goodness

Recap Time!

Great! so we have just completed a huge order for one of our clients and it is time to recap what we did last week:

1) We made some gift tags…

2) We piped some peanut butter butter cream on the peanut butter oatmeal cookies…

3) I meant we piped “A LOT” of peanut butter butter cream…

4) We also made a lot of S’more, all from scratch! (Marshmallow, graham cracker…etc)

5) Did I mention that they are HUGE? like bigger than your palm kind of huge.

6) We also made some Whoopie Pies with cream cheese icing, however our hands were too occupied to take pictures at the end of the day : )

To sum it all up, our weekend have been really busy and exciting. I am glad everybody enjoyed our hard work and that matter to us the most.

An espresso infused chocolate cake topped with hazelnut buttercream for our wedding tasting session.

It turns out to be my new favorite combination!
